News Release: For Immediate ReleaseSalt Lake Theological Seminary’s “Bridges” Training Program Now Available on DVDSALT LAKE CITY, May 18, 2004 – Salt Lake Theological Seminary today announced that its popular Bridges training program is now available on DVD. The Bridges training program is a video-based educational tool, designed to teach the core differences between historic Christianity and the culture, theology and doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS Church). It has been widely praised for its approach, which is respectful towards LDS people and their culture, yet affirming of the truth of the historic gospel of Jesus Christ. Originally developed with a grant for missions training at the 2002 Winter Olympics, Bridges has now been taught to an estimated 15,000 Christians of all denominations in the United States and around the world. Previously available only on VHS tape, Bridges is now also available on DVD. Along with the new format comes new pricing. To make it available to the widest possible audience, the price of the Bridges training program has now been reduced by 40 percent.
