Personal Background

I'm a recovering perfectionist seeking serious addiction to God's grace. Converted to Christ as a child, I'm learning to overcome legalisms and biblical shallowness in favor of heart wisdom and loving kindness. I love incendiary worship, elegant writing, gourmet cooking and Biblical reflection.

Why I teach at Salt Lake Theological Seminary

Because I have a God-given literary mind coupled with a missionary heart (providentially my parents named me David Livingstone Rowe), and I am convinced these gifts are best put to kingdom-of-God use here in the Utah vineyard in pursuit of the Salt Lake Theological Seminary vision.
