Bringing Bridges to Your Church

Bridges is available for your church or other organization, either as a self-directed training program or a seminar facilitated by a Bridges presenter from Salt Lake Theological Seminary.

Bridges Training Program

The Bridges Training Program consists of two VHS video cassettes, a Facilitator’s Guide and one Bridge Builder Workbook.

• The video cassettes contain the five Bridges training modules. Each module starts with an introductory segment outlining the main topics covered. At the end of the module, following a break for group discussion, a summary recaps the major learning points.

• The Facilitator’s Guide is a how-to book for individuals leading the Bridges training. It provides extensive information on how to run the training as well as additional background information about the topics covered in the videos.

• Each person who attends the training should have a Bridge Builder Workbook. This companion guide to the video summarizes the main points covered, contains individual and group exercises, provides space for notes and comments, and is full of additional information. It will be an important resource for participants after the training is over.

Bridges Seminars

As an alterative to purchasing the Bridges Training Program, you can schedule a seminar to be taught by one of our trained Bridges presenters. In this format, the video material and related study and small group discussion and exercises are usually presented over a 9-hour period. This is often best accomplished in a Friday evening and Saturday format. Costs vary depending on location and number of participants.

• Bridges Brochure: an 8.5” x 4” full-color, tri-fold brochure explaining the details of the Bridges program

• Bridges Poster: an 11” x 17” full-color poster with blank space to fill in the date, location and time of upcoming Bridges training events

• Bridges Promotional Video: a 10 minute VHS tape containing segments of Bridges that give a flavor for the complete program
