In a nutshell, the Bridges Training Program equips biblical Christians to better understand the culture of the Latter-day Saints (Mormons), to build real connections with them, and to share with gentleness and respect our own heartfelt testimony concerning the Good News of Jesus Christ. What if I can't make it to a Bridges training session? You do not have to attend a Bridges training session if it is not convenient. You can simply bring Bridges to your own church or para-church ministry by ordering the Bridges Training Program, studying the materials carefully, then teaching the course yourself. How can I bring Bridges to my church or para-church ministry? Bridges is available for your church or other organization, either as a self-directed training program or a seminar facilitated by a Bridges presenter from Salt Lake Theological Seminary. Decide which option is best for you, then contact the seminary to order the training program or schedule a seminar. Do I have to attend a Bridges training prior to facilitating a class? No. Anyone may facilitate a Bridges event by purchasing the Bridges Training Program. This includes a Facilitator’s Guide, a manual that gives step-by-step instructions for conducting the training, the complete Bridges program on VHS videotapes or DVD, and one copy of the Bridge Builder Work Book that each participant in the class needs.
